In wake of U.S. Court of Appeals' Ruling, Cintas Hit with Nationwide Labor Injunction
A decision issued today against Cincinnati-based Cintas by the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia strikes down an unlawful rule in the laundry giant’s handbook that chilled workers’ ability to form a union. The Court’s ruling frees more than 32,000 Cintas employees to speak about their working conditions to each other and to their communities.
The handbook rule violated the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) by prohibiting disclosure of “any information regarding . . . partners.
